This was posted by somebody else in a different unrelated thread but it deserves its own for visibility for such a common issue. I'm on this forum frequently and just found this so I'm sure other will benefit.
I just did this myself and numerous others in the bugs (I think?) thread reported success with this EASY fix for the double frunk opening issue on the Gravity.
The photo shows hand adjustable leveling screws on the frunk hood. One side of my hood was ever so slightly uneven with the neighboring quarter panel trim when closed. I unscrewed this about 1 full turn which aligned the panels those extra few mm. Now opens flawlessly every time on 10 consecutive opens. Took 12 seconds and zero tools.
Service center "fixed" the double open for me on delivery months ago but it still did it 75% of the time. All owners and service centers should be made aware of this easy fix for a very common issue.
Mods please relocate this to appropriate subforum as needed.
