Discoloration of calipers

Hey Community,

Changing to my winter rims I noticed some discoloration to my brake calipers.
I went to the service center and they said they have no indication of this happening before and it may have been done after I took possession.

Sadly I could not check since the aerofins were on.
I was wondering if anyone else had this…

Which part of country do you live and where have you traveled?

Toronto, Canada. car has less than 9k kms. furthers I drove was Ottawa

Look like salt erosion, but I can be wrong.
