Hi folks! Do the side-view mirrors still auto-open when a key is detected near the vehicle? Disabling this feature was not available when Air first launched and I’ve been hoping that Lucid would add it before GGT deliveries start. Would like to not have to cut a hole in the wall of my garage. :-) My Tesla MS has the ability to disable mirror auto-open, which is good because the passenger side of the car is so close to the garage wall that the side-view mirror would smack the wall. Current practice is to press the “mirror fold” button when pulling into the garage, then mirrors stay closed until I press the “unfold mirror” button once out of the garage.

I'd like that too... I also need to keep them folded until I get my car out of my garage, so it would be nice to have more control over their folding behavior.

How do you get in/out the vehicle in the garage with it being so close to the wall?

Normal way - the wall is on the passenger side, so the front passenger needs to exit before the car goes into the garage. But both driver’s side doors open no problem.

Is this still an issue? I picked up my gravity a few days ago and park in a garage with a tight opening. I'm concerned I'll forget to refold the mirrors one day after they auto-unfold the moment I unlock the car. I've checked the software and can't seem to find a toggle for the behavior.

Yep, still an issue. The feature does not exist. I had to cut a hole in the garage wall and also have to remember to refold the mirrors every time I pull out of the garage.
