Air Touring (2025)
Very excited! Originally scheduled for yesterday (2/15), but it got rescheduled as the car “was not ready” and “PDI was not completed”. Hopefully nothing is wrong with my car, and I am able to get it tomorrow. Picking up locally, Lucid center at Tysons Galleria (Northern Virginia). I know exactly what to do at delivery, I watched a lot of videos, did a lot of reading, test drove the car, and got inside of it multiple times in the local showroom.

My question is, what do I need to buy? Definitely all weather liners, that’s for sure. Leaning Lucid OEM ones, but even that, not sure whether Graphite or Ceramic finish (I am getting Santa Cruz leather trim). Do they keep them in stock at delivery center for purchase? I looked online in my area, maybe there are some available for sale from individuals, there is literally nothing, understandable given Lucid is not as widespread and popular as a Tesla (my previous two cars were Teslas). I know I can order them online, but since we are going to have (yet another) snow storm this week starting Wednesday, it would be nice to have the all-weather mats from start.

I also have noticed people remove the aero covers (I will have the 19” Range standard wheels), and buy the center hub cup / cover. Not sure whether I’d go that route, as the range will probably suffer, but still… it would look pretty.

Anything else I should consider getting? I don’t really care for merchandise, like hats and stuff.

Oh… and how would I get the “verified owner” badge here? I found a thread from 2023 with a link to a form, but that link was broken.

Congrats and good luck, the verify link is actually part of the menu right here at the top of the forum - scroll right.

I’m about 2wks in and I’m already fearing that I did not put enough miles on the lease…I want to drive the car all the time everywhere, it’s amazing.

If you can hold off on the mats, just get one person to use your referral code once you have it, and you’ll get the mats for free with referral points

I am in Virginia, so no referral points for me 😒

Congratulations and welcome.
You must post a photo or it didn't happen.

Congrats on the Santa Cruz interior.

Don't get the factory mats ... best ones were 3d but do your research here as I believe there is a newer model that is superior. Factory mats are for indoor use only.

You want the factory funk liner, and factory sub-trunk liner. Don't remove the aero covers. Get a small needle nose pliers to keep with your air pump (get the factory tire infalator) so you can get the tire valve dust caps off the wheels without removing aero covers.

Wow you are going to have a fun day. Snow coming too ... you will be amazed at the brilliance of the traction control...this car is no fun in the snow. Can't break it loose.

I'm pretty sure we can tell you are about to be an owner... it's not that hard to tell the owner posters from the poser posters.

Cool! Welcome! I took the aero covers off my 19's day one, and had the service center put on the silver center caps and black lug nut covers. I personally think the look is great, as the stock 19" wheels show less of the brake drums, calipers and wheel interior. Of course, many people prefer the exact opposite! I have averaged 3.7 miles/kWh over my first 13k miles, so I think the range hit is manageable.

Regarding my photo above... I really wanna paint my calipers yellow, but fear that it somehow will conflict with the car's overall kind of stately look... and at 75 years old, MY overall stately look!

I did recently add 'da bears', so maybe I'm inching forward, but I'll still have to deal with the fact that I'm a cheap bastard, and don't want to shell out several hundred dollars for something I might not like.

Congrats!

I have an extra set of liners that you are welcome to use for the upcoming snow. Just DM me if interested and will be happy to meet up with you somewhere in NoVA.

I bought the factory weather floor mats and regret it. They don't cover the sides of the carpet, and they have become discolored over time. I have 19" wheels and have 20K miles on my car, about half with and half without the aero covers. There is a very slight range hit without the covers, but I personally don't like the look with them on, so I only put them on now when on a long trip.

I agree on the mats - I pulled the trigger too early and regret the factory mats that do not give full coverage.

Learned the hard way, my back seat after the Philadelphia Eagles 🦅 parade needed some serious cleanup.

I will DM you shortly. Thanks!

Regarding the mats for the Air Touring with posts, (I just got a 2025 AT and they have the posts for the mats) 3D mats won't have available for 4 - 6 months, LinerX sold out and no ETA for in stock, same with Tuxmat. Unfortunately, not really any options I have found other than the Lucid mats.

With the Santa Cruz interior (which I also have), I'd wait for Tuxmats.

Thanks! That dual wireless charger is such a great idea. A bit pricey, but I think I'll buy it.
It is really nice, but make sure your phone has wireless charging. (I bought really nice MagSafe cases for our Pixel 7's, and they charge beautifully.)

TWRAPS currently has a 17% off President's Day sale. I think 20% off is about the best I've seen lately. They also didn't charge me tax or shipping when I had it sent to AZ.

Thanks. iPhone 15 Pro, so I should be good to go. MagSafe case too. I didn’t see any discounts on this when I first visited the site, but I will look again. And I need to actually get the car delivered tomorrow before I buy any accessories for it 😂🤦‍♂️
