There was a thread years ago complaining about the narrow diameter of the cup holder in the Air. I couldn't find that thread so I needed to start this new one.
I finally found a travel mug/ tumbler that fits in the Air perfectly, maximizes content volume, and doesn't block any of the screen while sitting in position. After using various styles from a dozen or more companies, I stumbled across a 16 oz tumbler from the department store Harrods in London while visiting my daughter this Spring.
It's tapered just right to fit the narrow holder and sits just below the screen bottom unlike every other tumbler I have tried. Previously, the Tervis tumblers were the best I could find but they blocked a little access to the screen.
