Considering OEM-19" wheels on my 2024 Lucid Air Touring

Has anyone went with lightweight 19”? Did that improve handling/range/acceleration?

Unless you are a professional sports car driver, you won’t appreciate a difference in daily driving.
You don’t need to be a professional driver on a track to notice unsprung weight. 33 pound wheels and a 35 pound tire will be noticeable. Add in a bit of pressure imbalance and the car can be bouncy, with poor directional stability (heavy at the wheels and, primarily, sidewall stiffness) caused by tire pressure.

Unsprung weight has a disproportionate effect on suspension compliance. I doubt most drivers are unaware of why their car drives the way it does.

I haven’t notice much difference….or quickly forgotten the differences. After a few days driving you won’t be able to appreciate any difference. We are not professional race car drivers to be that inclined.

QQ how far off does a tire pressure have to be, before you notice it?
What about imbalance?

Some people notice these things when they drive.

I just didn’t notice any change in handling, but I don’t drive very fast around corners.
