Lucid Air Touring 2026
Bought a 2026 Air Touring in December. Love it. Just brought it in for some minor service and they gave me an Air Pure. I charged this rental up to 80% tonight and was surprised to see the miles remaining to be MORE that what is shown on my Touring. See pics.

At 80%:
My Touring shows 320 miles.

I thought the Touring had more range than the Pure? What am I missing here?
 
Your Touring likely came with larger tires. And Pure likely has the smaller tires.

336/0.8 = 420 <-- this is the range of a Pure with 19" tires.
320/0.8 = 400
 
Yes, the rental has 19's and mine has the 20" Aero Lite Stealth wheels.

Likely just different recent driving history affecting the estimate, since the range shown is based on efficiency, not the official rating. Was the rental driven more conservatively or in better conditions before you got it?

I have leased a 2024 Air Pure since end of July 2024, I have 17,892 miles on it as of this post. Car shows 4.04 mi/kWh (so 355.52 miles per full charge) over that time period and miles. I have 19" wheels on it. When new, the highest I could fully charge at 100% was 408 miles, now a 100% charge is 390, which is a loss of .9 miles per month. This has been a pretty steady number. My 83% (speaking of 80%-ish) charge now is at about 324 miles now. On flat highways at 72 mph or so I can get 370-380 miles, city I am closer to 320. I charge in my garage with a Level 2 80 amps, I don't miss the gas station and laugh every time I go by one, especially now. One thing that is cool is mountain driving which I do at least once or twice a month. I go from 100 feet elevation to 8,000 feet in 97 miles and then back down the same route and mileage. Up the hill I will use about 200 miles on the battery and down about 30 miles. Heat could be on, on the drive up maybe even the seat warmers and down could or could not be the A/C. Usually the seat massager is on as well. The other day it was on the same drive 177 miles up and 30 down. That is way decent.
