A while back I was in a bad rear end accident in my Model 3. I was able to pull out the flash drive before I left the scene and the car was eventually totaled. I now have a ‘25 Pure. Has anyone had the (unfortunate) experience of going through this in an Air? Is the footage retrievable? When I asked the delivery specialist he mentioned Lucid would have it on those servers but it’s not retrievable out of the car itself like on a flash drive like in Teslas.

The footage is not stored anywhere currently. Some type of dashcam mode may come eventually, but for now people are just mounting dashcams the old fashioned way.

Wow that’s not what the delivery specialist told me because I specifically asked. He said if a crash is detected it sends data to Lucid. That’s a shame given all the cameras on the car.

"Data" doesn't necessarily mean video.

I did see that they have dashcam coming in their software but not sure if that's comparable to Sentry mode. It is the one thing about this car that urks me.

He told me video. I was recently in the accident so it was top of mind when I took delivery. That stinks.
To be clear, this *is* coming, they’ve said. It just doesn’t exist yet.

Just FYI, Google is actually adding an app/API for dashcam ability within Android Automotive...which means it should be fairly easy for the Lucid software team to add this capability in the future. See article from yesterday:
