Choosing gravity GT vs DE

Something @JoshG posted about his test drive yesterday reminded me of something that had slipped my mind: Lucid gives the same 3.4 second 0-60 acceleration time for the Air Touring and the Gravity Grand Touring.

Here's what we know about the specs of some other Lucid models and trims, assuming Lucid derived acceleration figures at their lowest weight configurations, on the grippiest tires, and in Launch Mode. (The torque figures look a little dodgy to me, especially as Zak Edson, a Lucid VP, told me that the front motor in the Air DE-P had considerably more torque than the front motor in the Air DE-R.)

I leave it to the engineers on the forum to figure out if any of this suggests a likely acceleration time for the Gravity Dream Edition.

Color options. I want bronze/Ojai, neither of which are available with the DE. Cost a factor too.

New email says my bronze/ojai GT won’t be available until December.
From what I can tell, I could potentially get green DE before August

If you have the $$$, opt for the DE. It comes fully loaded and most of all, its limited. The range is important for me, but having 350+ miles is already far better than any EV out there. As for power, yeah DE has about 200 HP over the GT, so why not… Before EVs, everyone wanted a car with more HP. Lastly the 0-60. It’s rumored DE does it between 2.9 and 3 seconds. While the GT does it in 3.4 and 3.5. Trust me, 0.5 seonds makes a big difference.

hmmm, I'm not seeing that online and only the 7-seat, which is preselected. did a sales advisor tell you that?

Oh haha. Nothing like citing you to you. Agreed, it’s a noisy data point at best.

I was told by the sales person that the DE will get delivered first.
