Car plugged in to NEMA 14-50 with charge limit set to 85%. For the past 1.5 years, I would have to wake the car up for it to charge. With 2.6.11, the car wakes itself up and charges to 85%… it seems it wakes up once it drops to 80% charge.

This is a charge in charging behavior - anyone else seeing this?

Thanks!

Nope. I tested it with the ChargePoint charger. Scheduled on the ChargePoint. Car never woke up at the scheduled time which was after the ChargePoint would deliver power. Scheduled charging still sucks.

Sorry for not being more clear…
My car is plugged in to a NEMA 14/50 outlet directly. No Chargepoint, Tesla or any other charger.

Nothing is scheduled. My car is simply set to charge to 85%. If it’s less than 85% and I plug it in - it starts to charge within 30 seconds and charges to 85%. It then stops charging.

Several days later, without me doing a thing, the car wakes up on its own and starts charging. It typically wakes up and charges when it’s dropped to 80%. It charges to 85% and stops.

The car is in an indoor parking garage and over the last 3.5 months it has averaged losing 1.5 miles / day of charge. I am 1,000 miles away from the car. No one else has any keys, so the car is waking up at 80% on its own. This is new behavior. The only other explanation is that the power connected to the 14-50 outlet cycled off/on, and that caused the car to wake up and charge on its own.

I had a charging message pop up on my phone yesterday when I hadn’t touched the car or opened the app. It had previously charged to 80 %. This is the first time it’s done that so you may be on to something.
