CarPlay disables lower screen bottom buttons

Hello - first post!

I don't use CarPlay, and everything in the Air works for me. But when my wife turns CarPlay on, the lower "buttons" on the lower screen - fan (HVAC), gear (settings) ad P-cone (parking) - all become inactive. I can click them, and they light up, but don't switch to those respective screens.

Have others had a similar issue?

Happens every time she's driving with her profile on and her phone in the car. I'll bring it in to the Studio to see if there are any obvious issues or fixes.

I had that happen the other day. I could not turn on the heat. Tried a logo reset, nothing. Turn signal reset, nothing. Finally the nuclear reset fixed it.

Yes

Confirmed that the nuclear reset makes it work. But can't do that while driving, this is a big usability bug.
