Can I upgrade this GT to DD Pro?

Is there a way to check if it can be upgraded to DD Pro? I obviously can't check in the app because it's a new car. The Sales person said that no cars can be upgraded from DD Premium to Pro, which I know is not true. Sales person also said it's impossible to upgrade Surreal Sound Premium to Pro, which I also think is untrue?

Thanks - would love to order this exact car if I can verify I can get DD Pro on it!

There were some 2022 cars that had the DDPro hardware that could be upgraded. A new 2025 will not have the hardware required to upgrade from DDPremium to DDPro so it cannot be upgraded.

Same principle with the sound on 2022 GT as I guess it was too expensive so to move the car, Lucid would lower the price by downgrading the the software and an owner can pay more by upgrading the software. All the speakers, cameras, lidar... were already there at that time so it's just a matter of payment for the software.

Nowadays, the hardware is built for the specs so you don't have all the correct numbers of speakers, cameras, lidar if you didn't order them.

What's the deal with that GT performance? I don't want platinum roof, so not interested, but why doesn't that car show up in available vehicles, why does it have a $43k discount, and why does it look new instead of pre-owned?

It’s new, it’s a press car with +/-50 miles on it that’s been in pristine condition for marketing pictures and purposes.

I’d just tint the platinum, that’s what it looks like they do on the production models anyway. Also platinum looks amazing.
