I have 1 year of free EA charging left on my current leased car. I have an option to get into new lease at a much better price. I was wondering if it is possible for transfer the existing free charging plan to the new car? Does lucid honor the original free charging offer?

Unfortunately, I’d doubt they’d be able to do this. But YMMV- doesn’t hurt to ask your SA.

I am not based on US, at least not anymore for now. but I am reading a lot of what is going.

based on my understanding, this is technically very unlikely to be doable specially with the Air. there is a lot to be done and the Air is not programmed to do it. my understanding the free charging is tied to your VIN number.

but with the Gravity is technically doable since they already built the backend infrastructure to support it like handshake, certificates and etc. But, it goes back to Lucid at the end of the day to allow it which I will assume they will not do it because you bought the car at special offer that made sense to them at that time and it does not make sense to transfer some of the privileges to a new car like free charging, DDpro and so on.

However, Tesla does allow between now and then the transfer of FSD as end of the quarter Promo and may be free charging but Tesla is different story. they have their own chargers so they can do whatever they want :)

anyone can correct me
