Just got this email:

"Thank you for contacting the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
We apologize that we cannot issue Clean Pass Stickers for your vehicle. Effective February 1, 2022, new Clean Pass vehicle stickers for single-occupant HOV lane access on the Long Island Expressway in Nassau and Suffolk counties shall only be issued to owners of Plug-In Electric and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles."

That's the message I got every time I applied.
 
I would reapply again. There is a person on this thread who kept applying and finally got one approved. I am absolutely sure I just hit the jackpot of luck with my HOV lane sticker.
 
Just got denied, but the email did say to contact DOT to have the car added. I'm sure it won't be that easy, but I did email the program administrator at [email protected]. Hopefully they are willing to add our cars to the list.

I already attached my stickers to ppf then onto the car.
I would resubmit the form online again and again for the sticker while sending out that email.
 
Ran into a person from NYSERDA at a conference (Program Manager, Clean Transportation). She will put me in touch with the person responsible for 'the list'. Hopefully they will be able to add Lucid. I'll keep you posted.
 
Thanks for the update. Hopefully they add the car on the list so we don’t have to keep applying for a lottery.
