Cadillac Vistiq

I saw a video where it says third row is a bit cramped for adults. It's competitive to Volvo EX90. I like the pricing. I suppose their super cruise comes standard, that's a big plus.
The cramped third row is mentioned in the video.
The pricing ultimately depends on what's standard vs. optional.

For the sake of comparison, I priced a Lyric Sport 3. Base MSRP was $72,390. Final configured price was $75,805.
Options don't seem to be too pricey.

It's still a GM product. Not sure I'm ready to trust GM.
 
Looks promising for the Lucid Gravity Touring given the price entry point is basically the same.
 
I don't know about the Caddy, but SuperCruise on Chevy's Blazer EV costs $3300 for three years. Not sure what the yearly subscription cost is after that.
 
@hmp10 I've read how much you want captain's chairs. Vistiq has them along with rear wheel steering and V2H tech (w/$7300 kit).

Given my experience with the last two GM cars I bought, a 1997 Corvette for myself and a 1999 Buick for my mother, I abandoned the brand and have never looked back.

Same here. I've been stranded on the side of the road by both a new 1985 Blazer and a new 1995 Blazer.

I was stranded several times in the Corvette. The last time I ever saw it was during its second year when it limped to the shoulder of I-95, and I walked down an exit ramp to a service station and called a tow truck to haul it off.
 
Some things to note about GM EVs. Slow DC Fast charging, no AA or Carplay. They use Google maps and their own NAV and hope to make Billions in subscriptions. Non starter for me and some of my friends who checked out the Lyriq.
 
I do like that it has power folding second and third rows. This is conspicuously absent in the Gravity in my opinion.

I hate the subscription model but unfortunately this is the new direction companies are taking. Everyone is looking for ways to keep the revenue flowing.

Some years ago GE formed a joint venture with Bosch called "BGAM" to develop a new technology for automotive motors that cost less than current technology and had a significantly longer mean time between failure. GM Delco was one of the few companies that refused to consider it, saying that the longer service life was a problem for them. BGAM sold a window lift motor to automakers for ~ $14. GM charged over $120 for a replacement motor at their parts counter.

I've not since been particularly drawn to motorized features on GM cars.
 
Wait.. the Gravity doesn't have those? Isn't the second row power operated?
Someone with a Tesla Model X had rear seats that wouldn't come up and Tesla is charging $4k to have it fixed. If the rear seats in Gravity were powered, I would expect similar or higher cost to repair after warranty expires.

I'm assuming Lucid is keeping the rear seats to be manual release for cost effectiveness and reliability? I actually prefer the seats to be manual for the reliability...
