I have had a wonderful buying experience albeit one that took some time and work on everyone's part. Lucid is about great people trying their best as new systems and controls roll out. this isn't a commentary on the car this is a commentary on the processes and the people who make them work when they are starting something new. The CPO car i wanted was in LA and it was shipped to Miami in about 10 days, the 2023 air GT had everything I wanted but the CPO designation, which would give me another four years and 60K in warranty. the Miami folks moved heaven and earth to make that happen and I cant thank them enough. if you work with any company and people take ownership of the event things just happen positively.
I now have a crew of people I fell I can go to if anything goes wrong to get advice. lets face it all of us are early adopters its an exciting thing and who knows what will happen. on the drive back to Sanibel island from Miami i felt that the car was amazing and I have owned practically every luxury car you can own. Lets be clear I expect bumps and I expect positive surprises, but I have never gotten so many phone calls from people involved in the purchase and delivery process asking me how it was going. Oh as well and just as much fun the first day I was stopped by 5 different people who just wanted to either sit in the car take a short ride or hear about this cool looking American car that made no sound as it went by.
