Just sucks. Poor wife's car got tboned. 2022 air touring. Looks totaled to me.

This car is built like a fortress. Spun around several times, hitting things along the way and blowing tires but no broken bones. Lots of strains and pains though.

There were some impressive online videos of Lucid showing the computer modeling and eventual crash testing on the Air. Very specific choices on materials and shapes and force vectors for all kinds of impacts. I hate to see anyone get hit in one of these, but I'm glad Lucid did so much to protect the passengers. Glad your wife is okay. Be a good husband and fetch her whatever she needs for a while.

Saddens me as the insurance value is so low I just can't find it in myself to buy another Lucid

I have thought about that but we went through so much with this car to get it working so well. I hear so many stories on the used car buys that it makes me gun shy. Also since there are so few of them, its hard to really see one before I can buy it in Dallas.
