Bad ACU

My Lucid isn't updating properly. Lucid says it needs a new ACU (which it is installing). Any idea what that is and what it does? The car otherwise seems be connected to the internet properly.

Think it's the access control unit. They replaced mine to try and fix the key recognition but it didn't really help

Autonomous Control Unit. Had mine replaced a month ago after 3 failed updates and loss of camera functionality. Dash has to be removed to reach that Board.
