Has anyone else’s Apple play completely stopped working for now reason? It’s become an issue for me. Tried reconnecting and disconnecting and reconnecting but nothing worked. Haven’t had this issue until yesterday after having the car for almost 3 months now.

I think you mean CarPlay. Have you tried all the troubleshooting steps? I did a video on that:

I didn’t. I was trying to find it in the manual but couldn’t and got frustrated after all the attempts. I’ll take a look tonight. Thank you!

Which OTA / iOS are you on currently? Bobby shares the steps in his video. I suggest deleting the device, performing a logo reset, and then re-adding it

Yes. Happened this weekend. Logo reset didn’t fix it. Ended up removing and readding my phone and that fixed it.

And I had not seen this issue either in the 6 months I’ve had the car.

Thought I would provide a small update here.

I just had this exact problem fight with me for a multi-day ride. I followed everything in Bobby's video (thank you, thank you, thank you). Through many reboots, different sequences of connecting, disconnecting, wireless, and wired configurations, I was unable to get this to work. That is, until I noticed that on my iPhone (which I had previously used on an unsecured network) had the VPN up. As soon as I disconnected the VPN, Carplay started to work as predicted!

Given this should be a BT connection, not sure why that would matter, but it did!

Drive safe!

I believe Apple Wireless CarPlay uses the Wi-FI connection to send data to the car due to bandwidth constraints of Bluetooth.

My wife has been having issues with her Carplay for a couple of weeks now. What do you mean by "had the VPN up?". Wondering what settings you changed on the iPhone as I'd like to try and replicate.

Thanks

I doubt we will see any change on our cars, there's barely enough room for two rows of icons, let alone three.
You have huge fingers or something? Lol I’d love another row

Anybody else noticed that since upgrading to 18.4 CarPlay connects every time? Before after charging I had to do a manual button connect. But now, I open the door and by the time I'm sat down it's connected and ready to rock and roll. Perhaps this was an Apple problem all along ?

My CarPlay has been rock solid as far as connection goes. There’s two bugs remaining:
1. After charging, CarPlay does not automatically load and I must go to the device screen and manually invoke it. Oddly, the native navigation screen, which I never use, loads instead.
2. During CarPlay navigation, the next turn street name does not display. Instead there are just two dashes.

No.1 Is what I'm referring to. Since I upgraded to 18.4 it doesn't do the anymore. It just connects automatically.
