So, there is a local drive in that is offering some fun movies this spring and summer and I'm wondering if anyone has ever gone to a drive-in with their Air, and if so, what "mode" they used.

Ideally, the climate and stereo works, but no exterior lights are on and dash lights/screens are off or really dim.

I can do some experiments to find out, but I'm wondering if anyone has some advice to offer

The lights off setting on the left glass cockpit is the best you’ll do with no lights.

In Themes, you can dim the glass cockpit to lowest setting.

The Pilot Panel can be blacked out by double tapping the car image from the main screen.

It’s still going to chirp at you every 20 mins or whatever it is asking if you are still there.

Alternatively, maybe you can put it in Pet Mode which will control climate. I’m not sure of the audio though in that mode.

Yes or just swipe up the pilot panel to hide it/stow it, you can also use screen clean mode it will black out everything and use keep climate. I think you can just tap the brake every 15 mins and the car will stay on. Why do you need the stereo to work for a drive in movie or are they broadcasting the audio over a wifi or bluetooth thing?

I feel like I'm in high school again, trying to deal with the mosquitos, the bugs I couldn't get off the windshield, and the couple in the next car hitting the horn before they move into the back seat.

Another UX need... shouldn't be hard, and useful for all sorts of "drive-ins" (movies, sky watching, etc)... also wish I could drive at least 5mph w/ the lights out (xmas light shows, etc)...

Well, I guess the activity in the car ahead of you makes the event a double feature - one on the screen & one show ahead of you. :)

I'm hoping Einstein was wrong about the block theory of time. There's so much of my life I hope I'm not living through perpetually.

I agree that screen cleaning mode is probably the best way to get the screens to go almost completely dark

In the Gravity, make sure to turn off the HUD if you don't want the reflection to be brighter than the screen's 😂
