We've had an Air GT since October of 2022, and have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Gravity. Yay! I pretty much fell in love with the car when I saw a prototype this summer, and feel (like so many others have expressed) that the Gravity will be an even better car for me (seating height, cargo space, muddy dog carrying capacity) than the Air. Also think it might be an even better road tripper. So with that in mind, has anyone seen or heard whether or not Lucid will be offering free charging at EA (ala early Air GT)? Also, will they be offering a NACS to CCS adapter? Yeah yeah, Tesla network is the BEST and all that, but the idea of sitting at a supercharger station in the wilds of Wyoming at 47Kwh isn't super exciting to me.

And as a followup question for the forum- If I've already got an outlet for the Air in my garage, will the Gravity come with a cable that will plug in and allow me to charge from the same outlet?

Likely not since it's not supplied with the 2025 Airs.

But similarly I'd think it may come with a charging credit, which you can use to purchase either the home charger or the mobile one.

Are you saying that Gravity won’t come with a mobile charging cable like the Airs have? I just plug it into my NEMA 15-40 outlet. I was hoping to use the same setup. Before Air I used the same NEMA on my Teslas with its mobile cable.

If that’s true I assume they will have a NACS version of this mobile cable they have in the online store. What do you think ? It seems expensive at $650.

Air stopped shipping with the mobile charging cable since a number of people (myself included) practically never use it. Like I mentioned above, they instead switched to giving a credit which you can choose to use for either of the chargers in their store.

I haven’t seen any indication that Lucid will provide a credit towards any type of home charging solution for Gravity. Has anyone seen that?

I would just buy a Tesla Mobile charger since it's cheaper and uses the same NACS connector unless you want high power charging(more than 32A)

On the other hand if you buy the LCHCS you will have the opportunity to use it for V2H and perhaps V2G (someday)!!

Agree, and had been thinking about that. But... how big a hassle will it be to go from charging the Air to the Gravity? Also, will they have an adaptor included that will allow charging the Gravity on J1772 stations?

It will need an adapter and that’s it - you’ll still be able to use your existing charger and outlet. You don’t have to use the Lucid branded stuff.
