Hi folks! Has anyone heard anything from Lucid regarding potential GGT delivery dates, finance terms, etc.? My sales rep is still radio silent, except she forwarded me the email from Lucid about the GGT being available for viewing (not driving) in certain studios.

Did the email say which studies?

You’re not the only one. Complete silence!

Not very useful but this was my experience. My local sales rep reached out if I had any questions and this is the response I got from a third person yesterday, not even sure of their position:

“….mentioned you had questions about the Lucid Gravity delivery timeline. While we don’t have an exact date yet, I’d estimate deliveries to start from the end of summer to late 2025. Let me know if you have any other questions or need more details!”

8 to 9 months after start of production? Doubt it! That would be the slowest ramp up in history.

I agree, no chance that the ramp will be that long. Supposedly Air owners will be given priority and there is a stated delay on Titanium Silver. 8-9 months could be accurate for non-Air owners or silver Gravity.

I didn’t really believe what they were saying, probably trying to under promise. This more just showing how there’s no consistent message

My bet is that we'll hear something concrete on or before February 25th 2025, just in time for the 2024 Q4 Earnings Report.
When I talked to a Sales Rep on Tuesday, he alluded to a BIG and HEAVY delivery to their Studio in February.

I sincerely hope it isn't 9 months for non-Air-owners. That would suck for me. As a stockholder and someone who really wants to see Lucid succeed, I think it probably would suck for Lucid as well. I can't imagine there are THAT many Air owners who also pre-ordered GGTs. So unless pre-orders were huge (like, 5K vehicles?) that would be a disappointing outcome.

I'm curious what people's guesses are on a) How many total GGT pre-orders there are and b) How many of those are from existing Air owners?

Of course keeping existing customers loyal and happy is important, but for Lucid to succeed in the long run, new customers are going to need to outnumber existing ones. By a lot.

As a non-Air owner, I was quoted early to mid-Q2 2025 from the rep. He noted, that it is subject to change, but that is best guess as of now.

Unpopular take, but they should simultaneously be looking to grow their base, not just appease the existing one, with early deliveries. It'll sound self-serving, seeing as I'm looking to ditch my Tesla, but it would be cool to see them feather in a few vocal Tesla switchers in a nod to Apple's 'Switcher' campaign back in the day.

Existing owners may also be a little more lenient / forgiving if the car isn’t fully baked at delivery vs someone taking a chance on a new brand and getting all pissy when the door handles won’t pop out 😂

Very fair point haha!

I'm leaving the Tesla fold and became adamant about it last summer (2024). We're a two-Tesla household and we're jumping to the Gravity first, as our model X is our workhorse, for camping etc. So, as mentioned in earlier posts, it's imperative to bring new owners into the Lucid family, not just current Lucid Air owners. The new supporters are the ones that are going to help convince more to go with Lucid just as current owners have done. There can't be that many pre-orders that it would outstrip production capacity for the first half of 2025. I'd hope...and encourage Lucid to get these new orders fulfilled as soon as possible, preferably before summer. Since there is no real advertising campaign, their word of mouth will serve Lucid very well.
