I thought the same at first but those icons across the top of the screen look very Lucid.

I'm aware, was just saying we'll see something similar implemented on our cars.
 
Read the official release and the 3 main updates are:
- full screen support for oddly shaped screens (that's why they show a picture of the Gravity, the Mini and the iX3). It'll require an OTA
- video streaming
- spatial audio
For video and Dolby Atmos, Lucid is not listed as one of the manufacturers supported
 
I wonder if it will ever be possible to display the nav directions from AA on the HUD

Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support this just don’t expect many automakers to add it.
 
I just installed the latest AA update on my phone, then went to my Gravity to look. Not noticing any difference. No SOC% in the nav either.

There is a full-screen icon that I'm not sure was there before, but all it does to get rid of the Lucid bar across the top. Doesn't expand the image any. Still the same rectangle.

This works in our BMW, at least for AA. Both Google maps and waze full color maps show up in the cluster which is really nice when someone wants to change the audio playback
 
This is just Google announcing what they have planned for Android Auto for this year. Don't expect to see this full screen update for months. A lot of people still don't have the Gemini/immersive navigation update that was announced in March.

Real time SOC% in navigation requires the EV to expose that data through the Carplay/Android Auto connection, which many EVs do not do to not share data with Apple/Google. The recent announcement is for an estimated SOC% which requires you to manually input the starting SOC% before navigating.

Our Porsche Macan EV shows directions from AA too.

Yes, that's what I was looking for, the prompt or some way to enter the starting SOC.

If you add your Lucid to Google maps on your phone, then you're supposed to be able to enter your starting SOC after searching for a destination. It works for our Volvo, but so far only for a very few specific trim/model year combinations of the Air.

Yeah, I did that when the "manually enter the starting SOC" feature was announced a few months ago. Still doesn't work in the Gravity or our Macan.

Who knows the actual timeline. A few beta versions ago, Google Maps would ask if I was driving my EV6 when I entered a destination but it never showed my arrival percentage. That prompt is no longer there. Google Maps would also show me what Google thought was the most energy efficient route option indicated by a green leaf. That is no longer there in the most recent version either. And I'd bet some people on the same version of Google Maps and Android Auto as me still have those features because of server side testing.

As with most of this stuff, I expect it to roll out slowly to a small number of people and then much faster as more and more people will get it.
 
I remember playing with this a few months ago. In Google Maps settings on the phone to set to up the EV, I finally got BATTERY PREDICTIONS to check on at one point, but it wouldn't stay. Now I can't figure it out.

I think there was an error at Google which temporarily allowed battery predictions. Or there's an error now which doesn't. Of all the combinations of model years and trim variants of Air cars, only a couple work with this. I've forgotten if there is a variant of Gravity that does.
