Am I Overreacting? Lucid Edition

Understand there isn't one monolithic harness. I doubt that has been the case for any car since probably the 60s or 70s.

Each of my harness related issues have been on a seperate section.

Service specifically looked for rodent damage and found none. I haven't had rodent problems with any of my other cars.... But I'm still buying some traps and repellents.

As for getting a new car.... I am kinda waiting for an Air refresh. There has got to be something in the works that has native NACS support, >50kW on Elon's network,and Odin willing, Air suspension. How can we not have Air suspension on a car called the Air for cripes sakes?

Put that car out, and I'll upgrade. Until then I'll either drive my wife's Ioniq 5 (which has its own set of thrills), or rent something for long drives. Or cross my fingers.

That seems like a solid plan. Honest question: would air suspension make this car better? I can't imagine it handling any better. I've never had a car stay as flat in the corners as this one--maybe my Ford Taurus SHO came close, but the Air is in a class by itself.

My reason for wanting air suspension is to raise the ride height an inch or so when I approach certain driveways, like my own. The car doesn't look low, but I've owned only two cars that scrapped when pulling in to my very average looking driveway - the Air and a 1999 Miata. It makes me crazy.

Bingo, my '88 Subaru XT6 would automatically raise/lower the suspension based upon the current speed... I miss that.

Ok, so 3 different harnesses failed (yup, we all do know that there are many and have been for many moons now), and at least one was just a loose connection. I'd not write the car off for tripping as it is one of the things it excels at (oh wow man, the colors), but I think it does make sense to ask that they all be checked over (though the act of looking&touching might in itself lead to failures)... I don't know anything about how all these pieces get installed during assembly, but one might imagine an assembly flaw root cause (parts issue, robot oops, human error, etc). Being 3 it points to the devices connected by the harnesses likely not being the cause (a positive).
