Thanks! I do have that password written down and it worked after getting a concerning Contact Customer Care (20) warning but it cleared itself. Had to reconnect to Sirius as I kept getting my wife’s Spotify feed even though she was several miles away. She didn’t get the “You Are Not Connected” flag when she opens her Lucid IOS (same as mine) app.

I stopped by the Houston studio to get my front plate put on (I got pulled over for not having one the other day) and asked about the update. They checked with the service department and she told me that there is one available and they will have it pushed to me. She said if it does not show up by tomorrow, to give her a call.

I was really hoping that the *new app update* would have fixed this background battery drain for me. But it did not.

Acknowledge this is the car update thread for 2.9 but this was released as a pair and I didn’t see a point in starting a new thread.

Yeah I always have the same issue, which is why I cannot use phone as a key. I have to completely disable location services for the app, otherwise it destroys my phone battery
 
I had that issue long ago, but not lately. Strange that this is still happening to just some people.
 
From the data I have looking at the Home Assistant integration, it seems the 2.15 app may be holding the car awake now? Car is still on 2.8.30. Typically there are large chunks of time overnight with missing data, consistent with sleep. Now there is a 100% consistent data stream and it seems standby battery drain has increased. Maybe 2.15 isn’t a good match until the car is running 2.9?
 
I have the same iPhone battery drain, but only on some days. This past weekend, both Saturday and Sunday had huge background drain from the Lucid app. Did not notice it until Sunday night. I exited the app and the drain stopped. restarted the app on Monday and no drain.

I am still on 2.8.12.

I wonder if its related to proximity? My battery was getting wrecked, but then once the car was in another state, the app uses virtually no battery.

I was going to post the same thing. I'd say it seems like a slow rollout but then I started trying to recall how quickly previous minor (2.x) releases had been pushed and I'm drawing a blank. So I'm not sure if this is slower than usual.

I've found the most recent 2.8 series to be quite stable so I'm happy to be at the back of the line. I'll let y'all squash the bugs for me 😄
 
Definitely seems extremely slow or they paused. I can't remember the last time I've had to wait this long for an air update.

it does seem to have caused a lot of connection issues, if they can isolate that it will be a good idea to pause the rollout until they can figure out what it was.

What connection issues have been reported after the 2.9 update? I'm not sure we've had a single person in this thread aside from OP actually receive the update yet.

Just the sign in one it’s not serious but would generate calls
