My observation of Air sound system

(Please use headphone when watching the video as cellphone speaker does not have enough bass)

- Touring with 2.4.4
- SSPro all equalizer set in the middle.
- Tidal

Observation:

When balance is swiped to the back, front speakers got turned off resulting in weak mid ranged and tweet.

When balance is swiped to the front, back speakers got turned off, including woofer resulting in weak or non bass.

When balance is set some what middle, all speakers are on resulting in the fullest sound.

Thought:

Lucid Air balance instead of setting the sound stage for a particular listener, it only modulate and shift which speaker produces sound, resulting improper spectrum.

What Lucid should do is to use microphone and take sample from all 5 different sitting positions and equalize/utilize all speakers to achieve a correct sound stage for the given seat position.

Conclusion:

The hardware is good and I am saying this as audiophile with Harman Kardom and Burnmester in my other cars. However, it requires a sound engineer to properly tune the sound stage.

It should improve in future updates as the ex Apple guy tune it properly.

Interestingly when listening to a Dolby Atmos recording on Tidal I don't believe you can adjust the audio settings???

I have found the sound setting above to have the best mids and soundstage. I only play 24 96 vinyl rips thru a thumb drive.
