on my Lucid air when I unplug my power cable from my car after having finished charging below 80% a grinding sound comes from the rear right wheel well that lasts for about 10 seconds and then stops if I charge my car to 80% this never occurs, has anybody had that happen? I was able to show the Mobile technician when he came out for my two-year warranty check and he heard it and I had it recorded. He thinks it might be a some kind of cooling pump for the battery.

happens pretty often with me. never got an error, service never said anything. i'm assuming it's normal for my model year (2022) but I see yours is a 2023 so maybe it's the same? it also makes a little bit of a funny noise when it's starting to charge (level 2) that goes away after a few seconds (going from low to high frequency type of winding and stops)

I hear this sound when I start charging almost every time, though it sounds to me like a fluid pump running dry. I also hear it after driving hard. It’s definitely odd.

The car can make various sounds from numerous places as there’s pump(s), fans, and other equipment, maybe contactors.
An ICE car is simply a big heat engine.

My cooling pumps sound pretty gnarly, I bet it's that. If your tech examined it and said it's fine then you're probably good.
