Not likely, but it depends on what you mean by "self driving." You car shuold have hands free drive assist on highways. It is not clear if other roads will be added and if point to point level 2 driving will come.

Depends on what you mean by self driving. It should already be capable of Hands-Free Driving on mapped highways. Some people consider that to be a form of self-driving. It does NOT do point-to-point (P2P) driving. It does not recognize traffic signals and traffic signs. Lucid has outlined a plan for when Lucid vehicles will be capable of P2P but it is not clear if / when that capability will be retrofit to Air.

Should also note that if Lucid does upgrade Air to more advanced ADAS capability via OTA, you would need to upgrade your center console control module to be able to accept the OTA on the soon-to-be-new UX3.0 operating system. Cars made late in the '24 model year and later already have the updated CCCv2. Being a '22 yours would not. It's a $950 charge to upgrade.

This is not know yet. The CCV2 upgrade is infotainment only. The ADAS chips are separate from the infotainment module. It is not clear the CCV2 would be required.
