Just wanted to report back on how my car did efficiency-wise on my recent road trip. AGT, 19" Aero wheels. Just me and about 350lbs of baggage, food, bevs, gear, etc. Also had a car refrigerator plugged into the 12V outlet whenever the car was running. Widely ranging weather and road conditions. And I have a real bad case of Lead Foot. All things considered, I'm actually pretty OK with this outcome. It's better than what I saw with my M3P on a similar trip two years ago.

And the Air is quite a bit more spacious than the M3P. My lifetime average in my 2022 GT is the same at 3.55mi/kWh, better than I achieved over four years in a diminutive 2011 Leaf.

Lifetime for my '22 AGT is 3.44, which includes about 2000 miles on snow tires. Average on all-seasons is 3.55.

Lucid Motors has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance driven by an electric vehicle on a single charge, covering 1,205.8 kilometers (749.2 miles) in a Lucid Air Grand Touring.

The record-setting journey took place late last week, following a planned route across Switzerland, Austria, and Germany — from St. Moritz to Munich.

it's a start ... photo make it look like Lucid Air is going uphill .. don't believe it.

From the Jungfraujock to Munich... coasting downhill ... about 9200 feet elevation decrease = I could do this on a skateboard.

Try this in January going the other way you'd barely get out of Munich.

What we need is the plutonium power source used by the US military satellites.

Wrong thread. I’d suggest you move your commentary.

Thread '749 miles on single charge!'

My AT never ceases to amaze me. Today I drove 5miles local driving and around 20 miles on the highway at ~81mph to work, AC on 70F. When I arrived I had an efficiency of 4.44mi/kwh. That's 408mile range which is bang on the advertised range of an AT and I wasn't even driving at EPA speeds etc.

2 weeks ago I completed a round trip 1900 mile trip from Albuquerque to Galveston for a cruise with my wife in my 2025 AGT w/ 20” wheels. We had a 7 foot Yakima luggage rack on the crossbars. We had about 175 lbs of luggage for most of the trip then doubled our cargo in Houston when we picked up my sister-in-law and brother-in-law at the airport. We dropped them back off at the airport in Houston after the cruise before driving back to Albuquerque. I kept cruise control at about 8-9 MPH over the speed limit for most of the trip. A/C kept at 74 degrees. Averaged 2.72 mi/KWh for the length of the trip. I had no idea how much the luggage rack and extra weight would affect efficiency and was a bit nervous about the trip before hand. All things considered I thought it was reasonably good.

I had a relatively short trip from Miami to Delray Beach for work consisting of primarily I-95 driving in my 2025 Pure RWD. It’s hot here so AC at 66 degrees at at least fan speed 5 and averaged between 70-80 mph. No luggage, just me. I was getting over 3.5 kw/h. Not bad for a “base” model.
