They show the distinction between 800V+ charging and 800V+ vs 400V internal architecture for the driving electronics. They mention that the Hummer is internally @ 400V, but charging can be 400V or 800V.

That sounds like GM values Voltage Charging Compatibility rather than go all the way for the 800V architecture.

In so doing, the speeds are still quite decent: 350 kW in 800V and 250 kW in 400V stations.

On the other hand, Porsche values 800V architecture that gets 350 kW. It comes with the expense of a lower speed of 150 kW in 400V. 150 still lower than GM's 250 kW at 400V stations.

Tesla is moving to 800v with the Cybertruck, right? That would mean they need to upgrade/modify their network either way.

That’s the speculation. But Tesla has changed its mind before, during, and after delivering on vehicles. So who knows when Cybertruck will ship and what voltage it supports.

I would hope they have that figured out by now. If not, then they're 3 more years away from launching that fugly thing.
