My frunk was all frunked up and wouldn’t latch properly so had to make an appt. Nothing new there, but it’s winding down winter here in Buffalo, NY so roads are still wet and semi snowy depending on the day, which means I can’t add windshield washer fluid to my air, and they didn’t even pick it up for over a month…so that was fun. Then they had my car at the SC for 3 WEEKS. Finally it comes back, passenger seatbelt doesn’t retract, my kid gets out of the car to close the door, and I’m sure everyone knows what I’m talking about when the seatbelt buck falls in the door frame and you try to close the door it makes a really pleasant clanking sound…well that happens almost everytime since I got my car back and the kids get out bc well, they are kids.
SC says they didn’t disassemble the b pillar while in service but you can clearly tell that the plastic cover that slides vertically to adjust to the occupants height is pinching the belt against the loop/harness that it’s routed through. I’ve tried messing with it but afraid I’ll break it.
Now my wife doesn’t want me driving them in the air bc she is concerned about it being a safety hazard if we got in an accident they would injure potentially break their clavicle.
Took it to the car wash this morning and the roof rack buckles were gone; idk if they came off while driving tbh probably in the car wash, but just another joyful day of own a high end car that’s falling apart faster than WeWork did.
I told SC about seatbelt the day after I got it back, they said they would get someone on it, that was on 3/14 haven’t heard anything since then.
