3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

I didn't realize that the first customer cars are actually now being delivered. I had my Air in for service at Milbrae yesterday, and they had one of the pre-production Gravity on the showroom, but saw another one in the prep area. Asked about it, and my service guy let me check it out (not inside... just from outside). This was the one of the Aurora Green with stealth and I think Mojave inside. Looked fantastic that way! He said another has arrived in Blue, but was in back and i couldn't go see it.

I was suprised these were for customers, and they said that a very small number (less than 10) are now being delivered to some VIP paying customers (not press). Two of those are apparently here in Bay Area and guess they'll be getting their cars in the coming days. Maybe this was already known? Are those lucky owners here on the forum?

Anyway, was cool to see NACS charger in the proper place, driver's side rear, for Tesla supercharger. Hadn't seen that before.

ALSO, was it known/posted that there's a much better keyfob? Metal (plus some plastic) with 4 metal buttons on top. Hefty, and far more luxurious-feeling.
REALLY hope that keyfob will come to the Air too!

If anyone here is near Milbrae, worth going to see.

Blue? That’s weird, haven’t heard of any blue as an available color. Would be interested to see it if that’s the case.

You sure these aren't part of the original ones delivered? I thought I read somewhere that they were going to be sent to service centers to be prepped for delivery. It stood out to me as I thought they've been delivered so why would they be going back to a Service Center to be prepped for delivery.

I'm not sure about that... maybe they are. The service guy just said they're soon-to-be delivered, and that they were paying customers, not press.

Hard to see what this is, and probably a little thing no one cars about, but a sales guy came over and pointed it out, saying it was a recent change. It's a little "radar" type symbol on the B pillar that shows you where to put the keycard. meh. but posted for completeness in what i saw. Was really hard to photograph on the stealth shiny finish with lots of bright lights.

PLEASE let this come to the Air as well.

Feels really nice, pretty heavy.

Because to take money for an order 2 months ago and not share any information whatsoever on when to expect said order is really poor communication on Lucid's part. I'm a strong advocate of if you take money for something no matter how small you owe it to keep your customers informed, not go dark. Seems they really weren't ready to take orders if they can't even provide an ETA on when to expect your delivery.

Basically "Don't reward poor behavior" or nothing will ever change.

I'm sure these are the 9 original customer cars. From the photos from a few weeks ago, there was handover ceremony at the factory. I image Lucid would then ship the cars to the customers' nearest service center for final delivery prep.
