Lucid Air Touring 2025
This is the 2nd Lucid Air 2025 in Europe and first one in Switzerland! And it’s mine 😍

It’s an Air Touring with glass roof, Santa Cruz interior, dream drive pro and Dolby Atmos

First road trip in the Swiss Mountains. So much fun to drive!

and here we did spend the night. We actually slept way better in the Lucid then in the Model S. The battery system of the S always made weird noises during the night while the Lucid is all quiet.

What an awesome drive to take! I also have the 19s and really enjoy the drive, I'm really curious how different the car feels on the twistys with 21s.

I have the 19s, and always wonder about that too.

I am jealous of all your beautiful driving roads to exercise the car!
Yes! We are really lucky here! So many amazing places to go. On the weekend we regularly drive to a nice restaurant in the Alps for fine dinning, then spend the night at a remote place car camping and then drive home at sunrise.

Congrats on the new ride. What are the taxes in CH for US-made cars?
Switzerland has abolished customs duties on most industrial goods, but tariffs remain in place for agricultural products. So the only tax is the 8.1% VAT. But for reasons unclear to me, a lucid car costs way more here. An air touring in the US is $78,900 and here $119,000 (without VAT) 🤯

'Cause Europeans are used to paying a lot more for cars :) No kidding, for an identical car, Europe pays 5 - 15% more than Trumpland. Unsure why.

Congrats and beautiful view. I believe that others have reported small scratches over time on the rims with the aero covers on. Unless you REALLY are looking to maximize range, I'd recommend taking them off. I believe you will need to get new center caps and lug nut covers from Lucid ... maybe someone can chime in with the part numbers.

Thanks for the advice. I will give it a thought.

It's range, comfort and NVH. My car actually had 20's and I asked them swap them for 19's before delivery.

I think it's import costs, the inverse works here the German BMWs are much more expensive in US (an I5 M50 is like $95K USD).
