Hello, new owner from NJ of a 24 Touring. I never had an electric car and tested Tesla, Mercedes, Rivian, and Genesis. This drives and feels more luxury than all the rest. I leased the base Touring (NJ AWD needed) and got an incredible deal with every incentive possible so it didn't feel like a risk at all. Overall, I absolutely love the car and love driving it.
I did have immediate issues (just picked up two days ago) which are the same issues that many other folks had on these forums over the last year which makes me wonder why Lucid is not reviewing these forums.
I have the blown speaker sound on the base audio. Shouldn't they be trying to fix this known issue before delivery. They are coming to service this issue.
Car was not detailed inside upon delivery. It was funny, because my delivery specialist (who was awesome) did a dramatic reveal of the backseat and when he opened the door there were crumbs on the back seat that he gracefully removed. There was a large coffee stain on the driver door, some hair product on the driver head rest and dust on the steering column. Only 40 miles on car. Not a big deal but cheapened the cool reveal process during delivery.
I was totally aware of both from reading forums prior to purchase but still surprised it occurred and makes me think they did not do any inspection or fix known issues as the 2024 car sat. The service rep when I called was also surprised and offered to have the car fully inspected by the mobile service company.
Anyway, I really do love the car and it's an amazing drive...I only mention these things because I do want them to succeed and get better. I also don't care that I am missing any of the upgraded features. Car is awesome at its base level.
