Non-smoking owner located in the Tahoe area about an hour from the Reno airport. Repair of minor damage to the liftgate (from backing into a metal post at less than 1 mph) was done at a Lucid-certified repair center in Rocklin, CA (Kneisels). There is still a minor 1" scratch on the rear driver-side door near the wheel-well - I didn't notice it until I was taking pictures for this posting. It is hard to see against reflections in a photo, so given the limit of 10 photos for this posting I left it out.
I originally bought this car for my wife who doesn't share my enthusiasm for Tesla vehicles, hoping she would go electric. But after a few long-distance trips in the car, she opted for a Toyota hybrid instead. As a long-time Tesla guy, I'm impressed by the hardware, which outperforms Tesla's premium offerings in several categories including range, turning radius, efficiency, and handling. NACS Charging at Tesla's V3 and V4 Superchargers is seamless (you plug in and it starts automatically just like a Tesla) and fast (the charge rate exceeds that of most Teslas). The vehicle has proved reliable on road trips, but its software is still a work in progress (making some things happen can be slow, confusing or glitchy). After several over-the-air updates, the most annoying problems have been addressed. On the plus side, interacting with Spotify works better in this vehicle than in my Cybertruck. Also, when the software refuses to do something (such as activating the signal when pressing Homelink button to open the garage door), you can usually get some action by pressing three times in rapid succession, which triggers some sort of override in the car's code.
Total price paid for the vehicle before taxes was $112,150. Happy to deliver it for free in any of the West Coast states.
