2025 AGT Crosswind Knocking Noise

I just finished a 3100’ish mile road trip along I-80 in my 2025 AGT, including travel through Wyoming and Nebraska and Iowa. Really good experience with comfort and charging.

One consistent problem, too:

Whilst driving at freeway speeds (or a little faster, maybe up to 85mph or so), a strong crosswind produced a constant knocking noise that seemed to emanate from the front corners of the dashboard, mostly on the passenger side, but occasionally also on the driver side.

I am certain it was not coming from inside the glovebox or from anything we were carrying in the cabin, and not from the visors. I’m also quite confident that it was not coming out of material I was carrying in the frunk. I had a companion in the passenger seat, seatbelt fastened. My roof is the metal variety. (These are all things I thought might produce noise and I think I’ve ruled out).

Anyone else here experience that? Any tips or suggestions on how to investigate or remediate?

Fast-paced. Sounds more plastic-y. If it’s metal, there’s no ringing to it.

Open your frunk and front door(s). Where they meet you'll see two flexible rubbery pieces that are supposed to notch together. If they aren't overlapping, you'll get a flapping sound from the wind.

Here's mine on the quiet side:

And on the flappy side:

Duct tape there was the start of an attempt to lock the pieces down to ensure that's what was causing it. Currently I have some residue-free duct tape and foam holding the two pieces steady and it has fixed the problem enough that I'm waiting for something else to pop up before having service take a look.

I see nearly the same thing, with less gap on the flappy side, but it’s not tightly overlapped. This photo is after I tried to fit the flappy side back together, but it won’t hold (without tape or something).

I'm using gorilla tape ..this link is for black, but I'm using white but the product is the same. I cut a strip of about 3 inches long, held the overlap tight by applying pressure on the black piece that sits between the frunk and the door, and as they overlapped, I stuck my cut piece of gorilla tape to the joint. I had to wiggle the tape in via chopsticks as it's a tight fit for my hands and then used the second chopstick to apply pressure on the tape so it stocks nicely. Hope that makes sense I just did this at 1.30am so will take it for a spin tomorrow after I wake up and report back! Will also add some pics of what it looks like now.

Some other post was also talking about the foam piece under the hood vent fluttering but I didn't touch it yet cos I want to first see if the duct tape fixed the issue first.

Unfortunately this also did not do it...the flutter remains..I taped both sides of the flappy thingy on driver and passenger side. Around 50 mph the flutter starts .. sad this didn't work ..I was hopeful...

Next I wish to try working the foam on the hood vents but don't know what exactly to do ..any ideas?

Unfortunately this also did not do it...the flutter remains..I taped both sides of the flappy thingy on driver and passenger side. Around 50 mph the flutter starts .. sad this didn't work ..I was hopeful...

None. I sent an email to Lucid Customer Care for this a couple of days ago. I have not seen a response yet.

Customer Care never replied to my email to them, so I bumped the message thread with them today.

This is a service issue, so I'd just call your service center directly to set up an appointment.

I have an appointment in early December, to have Service check it out. (They offered earlier times, but my schedule is a nightmare).
