I dropped off my Lucid Air at the Torrance service center on Monday. I happened to discover that the C-pillar roof cross-beam was deformed. As a result, the roof glass and rear glass, which should be adhered to the cross beam with urethane glue, have a noticeable gap, leaving the glue suspended in the air instead of properly bonding to the structure.
Since the cross beam, roof glass, and rear glass are all structural components, I am concerned about potential structural safety issues with my vehicle. I’ve always been satisfied with Lucid's service, but this time, the issue seems quite serious. I'm contemplating whether to pursue a Lemon Law claim, but I will first wait to see what service plan
hey propose before making a decision.
