2022 Lucid Air GT
Looking to sell my 2022 Air Grand Touring. Has all the upgrades and updates. White with Tahoe interior. under 9k miles. No blemish, always garaged, never smoked in. Pristine condition. 19 inch Aero range wheels, giving a massive range of 516 (max possible with Air). Looking for 115k (well under the purchase price of 150k+).. Ideally looking for buyer in Northern Virginia or DC metro area.

Why are you selling? :)

Just don't need it anymore. Wife now has a fully remote job and we already have two other cars. Love the car though, it is the best EV sedan on the market!

Came close to leasing a 2024 Air (Roswell, GA location) but have reservations about leasing. Have always bought/financed in 50 years of ICE driving. Looking for my first EV, discovered Lucid only after several disappointing test drives with other makes in the Atlanta area. Still working at 65, empty nest, love the grandkids, see the phenomenal value and ingenuity Lucid offers. I occupy a demographic just under the affordability factor of a Lucid Air. Still have a mortgage, limited retirement funds, should have avoided the Lucid demo drive earlier this week, but had a call from a Lucid Sales person in California who persuaded me to give it a try. She stated, "How would you like to get into a Lucid with no money down and $600/month for leasing a Lucid Air?" At that point I was ALL IN. But the more I thought about leasing, the less inclined I was/am to lease. I drive 20k miles/year, sometimes more. The lease for $600/month is for 10k miles/year. It goes up considerably for 12k or 15k. And of course, the $600/month does not factor in the taxes, doc fees, etc due at signing. I worry about keeping the vehicle in "perfect" condition with leasing to avoid penalties at turn in. Tesla has the Model Y now at 1.9% financing for 72 months. I can make this happen, but the quality and range of Tesla is not even close to Lucid. I ramble here. I've scoured the classifieds in search of a "miracle"; however, the miracle I need might be to simply save, save, save until I can take the Lucid leap! Welcome your thoughts and inquiries! Jim in Georgia (jiminga)

Forgot to mention: what I drive now is a paid off Ford F150 XLT with 122k miles on it. It's a great truck but a gas guzzler for sure! My round trip to work is 50 miles/day, 20mpg.

It sounds like you're more of a pre-owned buyer. You can find some on the market in the $50k's, many with <10k miles. If you go into the 20k region, mileage-wise, you should be able to find specimens <$50k. Good luck as these cars are really a dream to drive!

Jiminga,
I agree with you about leasing. I am 73 and have never leased a car and do not plan on starting not. I typically drive a car 5-7 years. I pay it off in 2 years.

Chose to lease a 2024 Lucid Air Pure that was "on site" at their Roswell, GA location and took delivery last Wednesday. 18 month lease; 15k miles/year; $429/month. Couple of questions:
1. Will ventilated front seats provide "cool" temperature to the drivers back/upper torso? I do not have ventilated seats, but my back sweats routinely in warmer weather and I'd like to know from Lucid drivers who have ventilated seats exactly what it feels like and if you think it'll help a person prone to sweating from their back (not butt).
2. Had a dedicated 60amp breaker installed with a Charge Point station in my garage; works great. However, the cord gets very hot, almost too hot to touch, when charging the vehicle. Is this normal, or did the electrician use "weaker" wiring from the breaker box to the charging station, or something else???

You have cool in air quotes so I assume you understand, but just to be clear, the ventilated seats just have circulating fans, not their own A/C source. I'm around 6'1" and the vented part goes up to just below my shoulders, I'd say. I get sweaty all up my back in other leather seats in the summer. In these with ventilation on, I don't at all.

My charging cable running at 48A on a 60A circuit gets mildly warm. Almost too hot to touch is definitely not normal. Make sure your ChargePoint is set to 48A max. If you can see the cable running into it, that should be labeled 6 AWG. If that looks good, you may have a loose connection or some other problem, but definitely get it checked out.

Contacted my electrician. Hoping for quick resolution to my hot cord!

Wow! That sounds like an excellent deal! How much did you have to give to get that payment if you don't mind me asking?

Holy smokes! I should hope to find a deal as good when I'm ready!

Jiminga,
Congratulations on your purchase. Nice payment.
