Lucid Air Grand Touring
Hey everybody,

I just dropped a new video on ChargedUp: I got two unscripted hours with the Gravity (black on Tahoe, gorgeous spec) and wanted to share my impressions with the community.

Quick background for those who don't know me: Been on the forums since...2021? Quite a while! I've been daily driving my Air GT for four years now, 43,000 miles. It's the best car I've ever owned and I can't imagine driving anything else. So when I say the Gravity genuinely surprised me, that's not a small statement.

In the video I go through driving dynamics, steering feel, four-wheel steering, regen (which is better than the Air somehow), the accelerator, suspension in Sprint mode, interior and screens, rear seats, third row at 6'3", and how it stacks up against the field.

The short version: I could have driven this home instead of my Air and not felt a moment of regret. That's saying a lot.

I'd love to hear from Gravity owners — how are you finding it compared to expectations? And for Air owners who are cross-shopping, drop your questions in the comments on the video or here. Happy to go deeper on anything.

Thanks!

Great review. Very much appreciate the comparison to an Air from a fellow owner.

I like my sedan but have friends interested in a Lucid SUV so the match is useful.

I am thoroughly happy with my GGT. Wife loves it, very comfortable and responsive. Only the very occasional minor glitch, which I am fine with.
Very glad I made the move.
Great to hear. I'm close to getting mine as well - hopefully will take delivery late June.

Thank you! I've found content from existing owners familiar with the brand quite lacking. I wanted to provide a better viewpoint than some other creators have.

I love my Gravity for all the reasons OP mentioned in the video and more. It’s my daily commute car, around-town errand car, weekend fun car, and long-range family road-tripper.

Every passenger I’ve taken has commented on how quiet, smooth, and comfortable the Gravity is and loves the car. Correction - all but one person. I made the mistake of flooring it without warning and he refuses to ride with me. The Gravity is “too powerful” and he doesn’t believe me when I say I’ll take it easy when he’s in the car 😇.

I really liked your "Lucid Air after 3.5 years" video and have recommended it to people on the forums who wondered how things like DDPro worked. I'm a Gravity owner, so appreciated your take on how it compares and improves upon the Air. For us, it's been a remarkable car and a joy to own. Looking forward to seeing Lucid mature into the car company they aspired to be.
