2.8.18

I took delivery of a 2023 Air Grand Touring last Saturday and it is running software version 2.8.18, which I have not seen reported released anywhere else. I originally noticed this when I had inspected it earlier in the week. When asked, the staff member assisting me did not have anything to say about it. I assume there is nothing of interest in this version besides "robustness". I don't think I have found anything new in the software.

I don't think there's anything unexpected about this. We know that new minor versions are sometimes not broadly deployed.

Has anyone else seen this version in the wild?

I’m still on 2.8.17 for a few months.

I’m still on on 2.8.16. But I was told a unifying update was “coming soon” so it’s possible 2.8.18 is starting to roll out. I’ve never seen them roll it onto new cars first, but there’s a first time for everything I guess.
