2.7.1 Software Update

I got it today as well, ten minutes to install. I did a soft reboot as always and will report any issues.
Has anyone seen an announcement from Lucid regarding an ADAS system update for Airs at the end of the month? It was reported by the Seeking Alpha stock watch website. I tried to post it here but the system wouldn't let me.

Son of a *****. After installing this update yesterday, I drove to work this morning. I backed into my same parking, and the parking sensors beeped at me like it has for the last year / 12k miles, and by 20” it usually auto stops me from hitting the curb in the rear. Well, this morning I get a rear protection malfunction or something, fault this or that. No exclamation point on the dash, though. I drove forward tried it again. Still beeps but doesn’t stop. I Air logo reset, and now it doesn’t even have the parking sensors. I think I’m going to stop updating the software immediately now…
Thats a bummer that it wasnt working this morning :/. Hopefully after a deep sleep all the parking sensors will spring back to life. A glitch like this is often resolved by a deep sleep if Air logo reset doesn't work. The auto stop is a safety feature to keep you from accidentally hitting something. It really shouldn't be used as a way to back into a space without looking. It's there to save you from a moment of distraction.

temperature, elevation change, wind?
Yeah the biggest change was temperature between the two, as the routes were the same. I didn't have the A/C on during night time drive of 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit vs the scorching hot days of 80 Degree Fahrenheit here of these past two days dropped me down to 2.8-3.0 Miles / KwH running the AC at 72-74 degrees on auto.

Other issue with update 2.7 was the degradation of charging time. With a 50 amp breaker I had been charging at 9-10 kw. After 2.7 it would stay at 9 kw for about 2-3 minutes then slow to 3-4 kw , doubling charging time. This happened when charge was as low as 40%. No other charging change. It’s one of things lucid is looking at in Millbrae service. Really stinks they call it an “upgrade”!
Interested to know what they say about that. I got my car in March and was charging at 11 kw at home and near that update as well it now does that slow decrease. Some in another thread were speculating its throttling due to the warmer summer months but I don’t buy it because I never had a problem with the same charger on my Tesla.

I will definitely be sitting on this one for a little while to see what ridiculous thing is broken by the update. I'd say "if any" but that hasn't happened yet in my ownership experience haha.

Thankfully the patch notes on this one isn't very tempting, for I am a weak man.
