Operations post 2.4.4 have been quirky. Carplay worked fine until we attempted to switch to my wife's Samsung phone. Now, Carplay is gone. We've tried multiple times to delete the bluetooth connection...and the phone connects-but the CarPlay doesn't appear on the connected device screen...and no audio comes from my phone. I've done 'hard resets ' of the car....no joy.....

Side note: Highway assist suddenly dropped at highways speeds twice.......

Make sure you delete the phone from the car as well as the car from your phone. I made a video on this process, you can view it over on www.lucidupdates.com.

yes- i deleted from both the car and the iPhone.
Reinstalling on the car- it pairs as expected with the phone.-- but the CarPlay option icon doesn't appear in the device on my car. Please let me know if you want a particular picture attached

I had the same problem. First thing this morning there was no audio in the car whatsoever (even for the turn signals). I tried a logo reset and the audio came back but CarPlay was gone. I think I solved the issue by: (1) un-pairing my phone from the Lucid screen, (2) NOT removing the lucid from my phone’s Bluetooth, (3) going into my phone CarPlay setting and forgetting the CarPlay connection only, (4) then turning off and on Bluetooth and re-initiating CarPlay. It tried at least 5-6 variations of un-pairing and repairing, but this seemed to do the trick.

Hey- thanks Davida. I managed to get Carplay back in a very unusual fashion just 2 days ago. After many t-shooting attempts- with my iphone connected-but Carplay not launching- i asked Siri to play some apple music. For some reason Carplay then launched- and connected. :) It has been working ever since. Fingers-crossed- I'm not touching a thing. :) Many thanks for your notes- I'll follow your steps if it drops.

This exact thing worked for me too

Same issue. Followed these steps…resolved. Thanks!

I have to logo reboot daily it seems and everything keeps working
That shouldn’t be necessary. Have you tried removing everything from both the phone and the car and starting completely over?
