Hello all, I’m sure this has been discussed before but I have been unable to search for it. Does anyone know how much of an efficiency hit you get with removing the covers? Warm weather comparisons would be great.

It looks better without it, doesn’t scratch the rim where it clips on during removing and putting back on, easy to put air in it without the covers.. amongst other benefits
Thanks !

I don't think it is very much, compared to the losses you can have by driving faster. I've left my GT's covers off since day 1.

Someone did a study and posted here - it was something like 1% range loss - totally negligible.

What do you guys use to cover the center hub that's exposed after taking the aero covers off? that part looks unfinished. Is there is a center hub snap on aftermarked lid or something?

You can reach out to your local center and ask to purchase a center hub cover.

Lucid's own center cap and lug bolt covers - available from service centers.

If range is on your mind then leave it on the wheels (mostly if you are going long distance), else enjoy the car. I've taken it off and don't bother to add them even for long drives (the difference is not enough even for long drives). ENJOY.
