Starting to regret getting this car...

Oh that's the thing, I was totally willing to pay the difference (and previous leases at Cadillac and Mini were *happily* upgraded to a higher model even just a few months into the lease), but Lucid is inflexible compared to the legacy automakers. I don't have an issue with Montreal's staff...

Starting to regret getting this car...

Mine is a 2024 Pure. I would be keeping the car despite the hiccups if Lucid service had been up to par with the price of the car. Charging me for the windshield and the alignment changed me from a brand promoter to a detractor. I even told them I would like to upgrade to a '25 GT and they're...

Starting to regret getting this car...

I had to pay Lucid for an alignment a couple months after buying the car. I had to pay for a windshield that cracked due to the defroster. I've already been towed once and had some nasty electrical issues that deactivated all the sensors and made the wipers run non-stop on a sunny day for hours...

Thanks, I decided to stick with the 19s and just get aftermarket caps and covers.

    OTA Update 2.6.16

Noticed no difference in my RWD Pure on any of these "improvements". And Android Mobile Key pairing is still not functional.

    Non-OEM Lugnut and Center Caps

Yeah, but the Lucid-provided ones are just covers too, and about 40x more expensive than elsewhere.

    Non-OEM Lugnut and Center Caps

A quick search finds equivalent ones in stock, basically you want 21mm nut covers and 54mm center caps.

    Non-OEM Lugnut and Center Caps

Center caps, $3. Lugnut covers. $2.

Things I miss about my 2020 Tesla S Long Range

The car is definitely low, though I haven't had too much problems with curbs, sidewalks or speedbumps, just need to take them slow. I still haven't gotten homelink to work with my garage door. I don't mind that the doors lock automatically after a while, though when I'm charging it I have seen...

    Back to the shop again...

This is rough, sorry to hear you're dealing with it. I also love my car but am one or two failures away from lemon lawing it myself.

Nearing 3 years. Love my 22' Air

I have a love/hate relationship with my '24 Pure. But yeah, drives great, super comfortable, looks incredible.

    Request from Alaska!

Damn, I'm in the wrong line of work if you can afford to ship for maintenance... Are you hiring?

    Request from Alaska!

If there is no service center in Alaska, how will you get the car serviced or get issues addressed if something comes up?

    Not a winter car?

Oh, I agree. I'm just quoting what the service manager told me. But yeah, the inability to use the frunk in the winter (and thereby to refill the washer fluid) is crazy. For now, I got to an indoor parking garage or car wash when I need to thaw out the frozen frunk so that I can open it to...

    Not a winter car?

You definitely cannot use the frunk in winter. My service manager recommended just never using the frunk from November - April because it can get stuck in a position where it will never close and make the car undriveable. So I just don't use it.

Windshield Crack - Not Covered by Warranty

These work very well for people who don't live in Quebec. Sometimes, when you accelerate, things come up from in front of you. Sometimes, those things are trucks.

    Drafty windows when cold?

Yeah, my car is parked outside. On the bright side, the preheat does a good job (reminder: don't use defrost on the keyfob when the windows are very cold or you run the risk of cracking your windshield like I did) of getting the car comfortable before driving off and limiting the range loss...
