    Long Island Lucid Owners

Hi all. How many of you made it to Plainview/Electrify Expo at Nassau Coliseum? It was a fun time. Finally got to drive (and launch) the Gravity!

Winter Tires suggested for the 19" wheels?

Having bought Model S rims with snow tires for my LADE, I can tell you that it will work, but you may need spacers. I needed 10mm on the fronts and 5mm on the rears. The TPMS will work.

Wanted Used Lucid Touring or GT

That's funny as it would be the reverse of my experience, having bought my DE in Plano and driving it back to NY. Lucid has plenty of pre-owned vehicles here that fit what you're looking for.

Winter Tires suggested for the 19" wheels?

It's a yes, but...I know I had gains, but I also tend to drive with some "enthusiasm", so it was very inconsistent. In addition, snow tires aren't efficient, so...

Winter Tires suggested for the 19" wheels?

My DE came with the 21"s and I decided to get a lightly-used (2k miles on them) set of Model S 19" wheels with Blizzak tires ($1000 for the set, it was a steal). I did need spacers for them (5mm in the rear, 10mm in the front) but they were wonderful and, the surprise bonus, the Tesla TPMS...

Winter Tires suggested for the 19" wheels?

I wonder if spacers are required for this wheel

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I don't think this vehicle will get anywhere NEAR SAE Level 5, or even 4. I meant level 3. Does it have the necessary hardware capability to perform level 4? I think so, but I don't know how long Lucid will provide SW updates to their older models.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Maybe Fathers/Mothers Day. Christmas for me would be finally having FSD...maybe even Sentry mode as well. Am I asking for too much? lol

The car is a dream and has completely transformed my perspective on how a car should be. Are there software issues and quirks? Of course. Tesla has over a decade's advantage. That said, we have three vehicles (one of which is a convertible), and we often find ourselves arguing over who gets to...

Hey, I apologize for neglecting this. I'm in Syosset. Charging has been inconsistent. At home, I get about 80 miles per hour on the CHC at 80A. I've noticed that charging at hyperchargers is much faster in the summer than during other months. Tech gremlins...just remember that you're driving a...

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I didn't intend to contradict PRs and announcements. The more I think about it, I guess he was showing me what they were using to charge the Gravitys with their CHCS. It's a J1772 to NACS adapter. I just found it online...

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

Well, again, I was literally there, and the engineer who travels with the Gravity to all of the sites handed me the adapter. It was Leviton. I was simply stating a concern, and I quite "what gave me pause". They originally were planning on adding both ports. It proved to be impossible. I get it...

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

Wow! Seriously? That's how you interact with fellow owners?!? I got >300kW consistently during my road trip from Texas to Tennessee. And how do you know they'll be providing an adapter that can handle those speeds? I held the adapter they had at the studio in my hand, and it was a Leviton...

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I actually recorded my ride along, if anyone's interested. What gave me pause was that it only had NACS, no CCS. While there are obviously many more of those chargers in the wild, I'm not convinced we'll be able to charge at a fast rate due to the owner being the top competitor. In addition...

    New York Lucid Owners Club

I have a DE. I find myself often using one word when describing my experience to others: transformative! The utter rush of the instant acceleration and torque is intoxicating. The balance of luxury, performance (both vehicle and charging), and range is the perfect sweet spot for me. For...

NEW App won't fully link for mobile key, Will lock/unlock but requires my code every time I try to go anywhere

Yeah, I encountered the exact same thing on my Android. I know people who use the app may encounter certain issues with the Lucid "waking up" (tends to be the multitude of false positive unlocks where the car just gives up after the phone "crys wolf" one too many times). I've been able to...

Maybe the turn signal reset? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Plainview is awesome and it was great to see Heather again at the rally yesterday. They really go above and beyond.

Did I get to meet any of you? I was the one with the White DE and the matching Lucid cap. I was also the one who asked about the CHCS ability to provide backup power. It was a fun event.

The perfect mirror ornament for the Lucid doesn't exist...wait a minute...

You are correct, Grand Magistrate! But, in this instance, at the end of the rally/QnA, one of the staff from another location was there with a cool metal Air car pin. I asked him what crime would I have to commit to get one of those and he went into a back room. Unfortunately, they didn't have...
