Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

So, when can we expect the reveal? Anyone reporting from Monterey? If someone is around the concept lawn or the Lucid location, it’s usually easy to get a sneak peak while they’re unloading the vehicle to the stage

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

It looks like it's much more than that, the styling on the exterior side (that we initially thought was the dashboard lol) with the Pebble Beach label looks very different than what the regular Gravity looks like in the same area. Also, GravityX is a badass name, I love it!

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

Nice catch! Yeah it seems more likely to be an off-road version of the Gravity, maybe lifted with bigger/wider wheels and off-roading accessories.

This makes a lot of sense!

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

I agree, I was under the same impression, but if they have a prototype available, the concept car lawn in Monterey is a perfect opportunity to show it off. I wish I had the time to go there, this week coincides with the first week of school for the kids 😫

Lucid Revealing a New Gravity Variant at Monterey Car Week

Lucid just posted a teaser on social media, and it looks like a new vehicle with an interior color called (Pebble Beach), which is perfect to be revealed at Monterey Car week. Also new wheels and a roof rack with LED lighting from what I can see. This is very exciting!

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

@marqie If adjusting existing orders and refunding points is an issue as @sri said below, can we get a complimentary item/items worth ~950 points instead?

Lease return excess wear & tear

Given how things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised if they charged me to clean up this “act of vandalism” 🤣💔

Same here 👋 Thanks a lot for your efforts @marqie

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

See? Everyone is happy now. It wasn't about points taxation, it was about the valuation of this item being inconsistent. We know what did we sign up for, and we paid and will continue to pay taxes on points redemption.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I completely agree with you and I hope something is being done about this. I'm in the same boat, early investor since $CCIV and I keep on doubling down and bringing my average stock cost lower because I believe in the long-term potential of Lucid. I bought the stock at $50 and at $2, and still...

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

Yeah it’s working now. It’s funny how it always goes down right after I criticize it here in the forum lol

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

Right, I forgot about the 2-year expiry. Btw is everyone’s referrals page down? Or is it just me because of my criticism above? lol

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

Btw the above calculations don’t include sales tax, so it’s more like $370 for this adapter

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

Yup that’s another constraint, basically making this the only reward we’re getting this year lol

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

It’s not considered devaluating if they’re sending us 1099’s with $0.125/point value, this is now considered income and we’ll be paying taxes based on that. Unless they decide to change this ridiculous $0.125/point value for this year’s 1099, it’s unfortunate how they’re over estimating the...

RESOLVED $220 on the regular store and $343.75 on the referral store?

I agree, this is ridiculous. Even after including shipping ($6.99) and the highest sales tax in the US (10%), the total is $249, which is still ~$100 cheaper than the referral store.
