    Hi-speed noise

4.25 months we’ve owned the car, 2 of which the car has been in the shop! Hopefully this is the last of it.

    Hi-speed noise

in Silicon Valley, on 280, 85-90 is the norm -- when its quiet out, you can hit 140 if you don't watch it :)

    Hi-speed noise

Resolution: The passenger-side wheel/tire road force was 50-60. Christopher said something was wrong with the tire or the wheel. They replaced both the passenger-side wheel and tires. I pick it up on Monday!

    Christopher Robinson at Milbrae Center

    Agreed, he's a keeper!

    Hi-speed noise

My wife has the car mid week, I'll have it on the weekend. It's a vibration. I feel it in the steering wheel and can feel it. At 90, it crops us, it was significant enough that i slowed down. I don't think a video will show anything, but I'll try. I have a call to Christopher, who is probably...

    Hi-speed noise

Thanks, I did not think of this as I was driving home from the service center. I have the all season “19 wheels. I assume they are rated for 135 mph or higher?

    Hi-speed noise

Why am I driving 90 mph in a Lucid GT? I only stoped at 90 due to the vibration!

    Hi-speed noise

I can record it. I can feel it on the steering wheel too, like a vibration.

    Hi-speed noise

Hi All, I finally got my GT back. Driving home from the service center, the car drives beautifully. However, there was some noise at about 90 mph: Everything was smooth, up to 90 mph. At 90 mph, I noticed some rumbling; it seemed like it was coming from the drive train, but I'm not sure at all...

    Lucid wrecked in Bay Area

In Petaluma? Not a chance! Now if it was San Francisco? Perhaps. I have a 16-year-old. He does not drive yet -- no reason, he can take the bus. He is highly responsible. Nevertheless, when he learns, there is no chance he ever drives the Lucid of my M4 .... sorry kid :)

Fob battery dead after only 4 months

@ Bobby: If my wife uses her mobile key, is there any way for her to park it in her garage? The attendants park the car and bring it up for her. We've no good ideas on this except leaving them a card and giving them our pin -- we don't want to do that if at all possible.

NAH Saudis are dissing on us.

There was a period of time when the CHP used a variety of sports cars—Camero's come to mind—in N. California to track down guys driving their exotics on 280. I'm not seeing that as much, but then I've not been commuting on 280 much the past 4-5 years. Lucid's would be better!

    New HV Battery

The takeaway is that Lucid is monitoring so drivers won't get stuck somewhere. It would be better if it was not an issue, but it is a close second that they proactively take care of us. I'm good and I appreciate your points.

    Saw many Lucids this week!

    Nice!

    New HV Battery

Bobby, I’m not worried, just wondering. As you know I’ve had a slew of issues. We’re at 7 weeks in the shop of 14 weeks having the car. But we’re hanging in, hoping it it comes back next week running smoothly!

    Saw many Lucids this week!

I'm seeking more Lucid's these days for sure. The Tesla's are like flys buzzing about :)

    New HV Battery

Yes, understood, but 2% is probably a representative set of owners (insofar as the car is concerned). There are a bunch of Battery issues listed here, most seemed to be 2022, GTs. So the question is: Does that extrapolate to a high % of returns across the entire set of 2022 GTs? It seems to be...

    New HV Battery

I was just wondering, and I only skimmed this post, do many of the 2022s need battery replacements?

2nd try to pick from service, still no go

Just wondering what they do on an annual service, Plugs, and points on an EV?

2nd try to pick from service, still no go

Lucid called -- they need to replace the wiring harness to fix the break light issues. In diagnosing the problem, they cracked the rear glass on the car, so that needs to be replaced too. While this is unfortunate, the wiring harness may be a catch-all fix for us, so I think it's a good fix...
