I thought this was the Lucid Investors subforum not the Tesla investors subforum?

Lucid CEO teases mid-size in development

Idk I guess maybe I'm old now at 30 but I've always been a pretty lay the legs out far kinda guy and one thing I loved and wanted to buy the Air for was the remarkable amount of foot and legroom. It's incredibly comfortable, and while it feels a bit low to get in, it doesn't feel AS low as the...

    2024 Total Deliveries Announced

Nitpick of mine, knowing you didn't make the chart...so dumb to have a chart meant to indicate lease penetration and then make the lease section the hardest to compare across bars by putting it in the middle, rather than the bottom (or even top)

Would you still buy a Lucid Air living over 600 miles away of a service center?

I've only ever had service once, for a flat tire, and the mobile tech was great (albeit a day after the tire popped). Lucid called a tow, and a ride for me, both to take me home and the car home. I've had the car for 11.5 months.

Does Anyone Have Regrets? (non-owner asking)

We had to do this, and it still took some angle grinding of the garage lip to avoid scraping on a steeper driveway. I've considered trying to go to a custom job place to lift the car an inch but haven't pulled the trigger. Definitely something to consider in our next home.

    Android Auto Thursday

FWIW, this place is a bit of an echo chamber about some of these things. I've never had Android Auto or a dashcam, and I can see how AA will be a nice adjustment (please god let me see the map on the big screen in the center console that would be so nice), and I have zero desire to have a...

    Car Mats

I don't have the upper one for the trunk, but for the frunk, it makes it very annoying to get to the lower level of the frunk.

Android phone users: what would it take to make you basically satisfied with the Air's software?

The only thing that would make it better for me, really, is inbuilt google maps. My phone bluetooths to the car for calls. It can play podcasts the same way, and the native spotify has been great. I just stick the phone in the cupholder or even in the charging slot with google maps up if I'm...

    DreamDrive Megathread

It is a bit odd how many roads don't work with HA. I drove back through some of the same places HA was unavailable in a Subaru, and their lane keep + adaptive cruise worked fine whenever there were lane lines. Would be nice for the same to work in the Air, not entirely sure why it doesnt.

Lucid Q2 2024 Results (official per Lucid Website)

I'm just going to hope it's not "remove current version and replace with hands free eye detection" and instead is "optionally switch modes to hands free" because quite frankly the biggest benefit of HA is being able to look away for a moment...

Mix feelings after 1 week of ownership

Interesting. Wonder if there's a different spec on Pure vs Touring. I'm 6'2" 200 and never had any issues getting in and out. Love the easy entry seat/wheel thing too.

    Key fob battery usage

Is this kind of pouch the only solution we have found? My first fob lasted like 4 months and since I have had a new battery like every 3 weeks and it's now too annoying. I've read everything on Bobby's site and tried to deal with the battery coating to no avail. Was there a pouch/box you liked...

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

I'm a 19" Touring in TX. Lifetime 3.2 - almost entirely city driving in Dallas Road trip up to OKC and back got me 3.8 at an average speed of ~80-85. I drive pretty fun. Which certainly hurts efficiency. I bet I could be above 4 on a trip for sure at a lower speed and with less aggressive...

    Regenerative braking

Why would that matter? "When SOC is too high for regen, the car will automatically blend normal brakes in to simulate the same driving experience. When the battery can accept charge, the maximum regen possible will be used, as always."

    Regenerative braking

Yeah it really would. Possibly number one on my list at this point. It's the only feature I'm missing that actually feels like it creates danger. Others are just creature comforts to me.
