    Car Mats

Yes they do. But it's semi hidden. You need to select a Touring GT and not Touring as your car. Then all the frunk and trunks show up as an option. Tuxmats screwed up their drop down menus. The same Tuxmats frunk and trunk mats fit all our cars, GT, Touring,Pure. Only the second row...

To this day, my blood pressure rises when I think about chasing Lucas we electrical gremlins. Didn't Bosch buy Lucas?

    Servicing after 15K miles

My mother, rest her soul, would tell friends how one morning, when I was in high school, she found me passed out asleep on the kitchen table: SU carb body still in one hand, it's piston in the other. We used to call British auto wiring "spaghetti." Get it wet, and it fell apart.

Setting points. I still have the feeler guages. Remember the horrible Lucas ignition on British cars? Popular MG bumper sticker: "Lucas Electrics and Refridgeration - the reason why the British drink warm beer"

Also, will do any open service campaigns - I had two for them to do. They also check all fluids (two coolant reservoir's), including a check of the brake fluid for contaminant/water content. And they hook the car to a computer and do a full system scan of all modules for communication and...

NEMA vs Lucid Charging Station vs Tesla Wall Connector

Most of the country does not use non-utility installed, external surge protectors, guessing due to inside locations of service equipment. They are usually connected. Some utility installed surge protectors come off the meter lugs. Rare otherwise. Not making a joke, but I wonder how anything...

EA Savings report possible for Lucid?

Failed P and C happened to me for the first time after 8 months: I had to open the Lucid app, the EA button was illuminated, I hit it and it took me to a screen where I picked what pedestal I was at. Charged perfectly.

I disagree. I made the same mistake. Was told, you need to actually book an Annual Maintenance. I Took mine in for wipers recall and two service campaigns. They did not do the annual. Told me to wait two or three more months.

Five months since the in-service date? Or 5 months of your ownership? Yes, call or email Lucid service and see what they say. You need to reach out to them. I just did mine, 14 months and 9000. The first annual, from what they said, is not super critical to a certain time or mileage. I...

    Attention: Lucid Second Owners

I sent the email one night, after reading this. The next morning I had a reply from Lucid, saying I was enrolled. Was going to then request / ask about Android Auto, but didn't want to push my luck. 🙄

NEMA vs Lucid Charging Station vs Tesla Wall Connector

Following up @DeaneG advice, you should have both types: whole house for when a kid plows his Miata into a substation, and a quality surge strip for computers, TVs. An LG engineer recommended a $15 one device surge for any new fancy fridge. One thing to note, whole house devices are...

NEMA vs Lucid Charging Station vs Tesla Wall Connector

Yep, simply look for the lights. The Siemens ones I use have a buzzer and light, and are wired to a dedicated breaker. Think of the surge device giving it's life versus your fancy appliance or fridge. I have "lost" two $180 Siemens devices. Both from idiot street racers hitting poles or a...

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

OMG, @Electrified , I love the article on receptacle grades. 2005, well before EVs. The two edged sword of HD Lowes and Amazon. Any numpty (English term) can easily buy parts that if improperly installed, can burn down their home or kill them. Those same numpties leave bad reviews on Amazon...

    Lucid Wunderbox Wire Choice

Judging by your comments, I think you may be over your head on this. If you uncle is "a licensed journeyman" electrician LET HIM PICK AND GET THE CONDUCTORS. It's his license on the line. Have him size and get it and buy him a case of wine and dinner. Call him before buying A THING...

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

One last point from Brother @DeaneG. I also generally agree against the use of receptacles for continuous use high amperage applications, I.e. EV charging, but if you are going to do it,be damn sure you are doing it spot on: proper size copper conductors, proper size HD wall box, newish...

Hardwire your home charging station! Or use a Hubbel / Bryant / Cooper 14-50 receptacle, not Leviton

Run away, do not walk. Listen to my brother from a different mother. It's a no-name Chinese copy of the Hubbell and not even a direct copy. Notice the receptacle diameter is 2.15 inches on this Chinesium while the truly industrial plugs are 2.45. So, Wang Chung is taking the same molds as...

Tire Rotation question on 20” and 21”

Don't be confused. The person that told you that was dead wrong. I use the term dead on purpose. You do not f--k around with high performance tires, especially on damn heavy and damn fast cars. Staggered tires are not Rotated. Ever. A downside using staggered for sure. In addition,Virtually...

Lucid Motors is stuck in a fight over the name of its Gravity SUV
