    Lease Charges for Damage

Getting another?! No way. F. Lucid - this lease end experience has turned me from a fanboy into a hater.

    Lease Charges for Damage

So, with all due respect to one of our esteemed moderators(!), I disagree that the tire is unsafe. I did drive this car, and I drove my family about in it. As soon as that tire damage occurred (soon after I got the car) I went to the tire shop to get it replaced. Bear in mind the tire shop has...

    Lease Charges for Damage

BY POPULAR DEMAND! Here are the "piccies"... (Filenames are self explanatory) Love to get your views, chaps!

    Lease Charges for Damage

So, what you're saying is that Lucid are taking a similar approach to Tesla on lease returns. I'll just leave that out there.

    Lease Charges for Damage

With respect, I am not required to redeliver an "as new" car. I am not selling the car back to lucid, I am concluding the period where I paid them (handsomely, as it was an early lease) to use the car. Therefore, regular wear and tear is allowed. I mention credit card size (for the scratch)...

    Lease Charges for Damage

Just received my final invoice from my "friends" at LFS (attached (anonymized)). On redelivery one scratch (less than credit card size), one tire damaged (not requiring replacement according to my local tire shop) and one wheel with minor curb rash were noted by Lucid Millbrae. The bill is...

...and now, the end is near... - for my leased AT

Hello friends. I did return my Lucid AT on Friday at Millbrae. Unfortunately, the experience was not positive. I will post something more complete about the process but the inspector, Allen, noted some damage that seems to me to be fair wear and tear. My protests about this were ignored and I...

...and now, the end is near... - for my leased AT

Thanks for the good wishes! I recall in an earlier discussion you mentioned you had some experience of classifying small items as "normal wear and tear" on lease return. Do you have any hints and tips about that? Should I get a "pre-inspection" (before the lease return inspection) by an unbiased...

...and now, the end is near... - for my leased AT

I asked about a lower buyout value, but my sales advisor said "That’s the price if you want to buy the car".

...and now, the end is near... - for my leased AT

Sorry to be a traitor in the midst...! Having had a generally positive 2 years with the lucid AT, I've leased a GLE 450e phev last weekend. It's better for my use case, and my tendency towards "charger anxiety"(!) I'll be giving back the AT on or about the 20th of this month. I have loved...

Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

So, funny thing. I was planning to exit stage right when my lease (AT) is up in April. But a $95K GT trim Gravity is very tempting 😁 Maybe they do have a cunning plan, as Baldrick might say.

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Got the update this morning (2023 AT in the Bay area). Took it on the 580 for a 15 mile drive, and loved the 3 lane visualizations! But highway ass doesn't take control of steering any more!! (It's basically working as adaptive cruise and if you don't steer it drifts out of lane. The steering...

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Got the notification for the update this morning (Monday) in Northern Cal (however, I did not drive yesterday). 2023 AT. After half an hour it is only at 4% though :o (but from what others say, it should speed up later (I hope!))...

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Looks like a great update, and can't wait! Active curve speed control is particularly needed in Highway ass. It does get scary coming into the curves, for example on 50 to/from Tahoe.

    Christopher Robinson at Milbrae Center

I'd like to add to the CR fan club, he was very helpful in dealing with a couple of glass-related problems on my AT last week. And I got a GT as a courtesy car - score! Also, does anyone have any long term experience with the cross bars , after having them fitted/refitted by Lucid? This was...
